The proposal at City Hall was passed without unionist support

Organised by United Against Racism, the Belfast Welcomes Diversity demo has been called in response to the violence by far right groups last weekend in South Belfast , which has been described as a race riot.

The anti-racism demo takes place this Saturday, August 11, and will assemble at noon at Writers Square. “We have seen enough division here.
