🗣 'The mixture of new music and his classics like Someone You Loved and Before You Go was the perfect tonic for a Sunday night in Belfast'
Lewis Capaldi has taken over the music industry over the last number of years and it is no surprise that his Scottish charm, hilarious banter and undeniable talent have translated to Northern Irish crowds.
Playing the SSE Arena in his largest Northern Ireland show to date, those who were lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket can agree that there is something special when the music starts and Lewis opens his mouth.Kicking off the show with new hit Forget Me and following straight into Forever the fans erupted and did not stop the entire night.
Lewis has the mark of a true performer being able to keep a crowd of this size transfixed the entire time. Having been lucky enough to see Lewis at the Ulster Hall in 2020, I wasn’t sure if that intimate feeling he created at the show would translate in a venue as big as the SSE - his voice absolutely filled the arena just as it did back then.
Of course alongside the insane talent he exudes, the gig was filled with his humour and personality - it felt like watching one of his TikToks live and in person.
