The original location on Townsend Street faced a number of incidents including car ramming, being set alight, and threatening graffiti
Homeless charity The Welcome Organisation moved from its original location on Townsend Street earlier this year due to a series of incidents, including a car ramming with the building's shutters set alight.
Now, the charity has confirmed their drop-in centre will move further into Belfast city centre, operating from Centenary House off Waring Street. Jude Whyte from The Welcome Organisation confirmed to BBC News NI the location for the centre was provided by The Salvation Army. He added: "We will do our utmost to support people experiencing homelessness in the days, weeks and months to come. We are grateful for the support of many people from all walks of life across the city in recent days."
