The People's Kitchen's album features music from well known national and international artists

A homeless charity in Belfast has released a new star-studded album to help raise funds and awareness.

Damian McNairney, volunteer and trustee at The People's Kitchen, said they are "extremely proud" to have been able to produce the album.Read more: Belfast charity fears homeless deaths will ‘continue and escalate’ due to cuts "The second side would feature songs that reflect the harshness of life on the streets, and the realities of addiction, mental health, and loneliness faced by many in such dire circumstances.The first side features songs that reflect the kindness to be found among the homeless community and the volunteers."

Their outreach team are out on the streets of Belfast every night providing meals and help to those experiencing homelessness, while at their hub on the Antrim Road, they provide further services such as a canteen offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner for those in need.
