The Lidl on Stewartstown Road is due to open later this year
The store on the Stewartstown Road, which has been open for more than 20 years, has closed its doors while the final stages of the refurbishment take place, with Lidl saying it will announce its official opening date in the coming weeks and months.
A Lidl Northern Ireland spokesperson said: “As Northern Ireland’s fastest growing supermarket retailer with 41 stores across the region, we are committed to providing our customers with the best shopping experience possible. Lidl Stewartstown is temporarily closed to facilitate final construction work to deliver a brand new state-of-the-art store for the local community.
"We thank the local community for their patience whilst the store is being refurbished and look forward to confirming an official opening date in due course.”
