A Belfast man is set to take on the seven peaks challenge in the Mournes barefoot in aid of a breast cancer charity.

Speaking to Belfast Live, Calvin said that his mum has recently been through treatment after being diagnosed with breast cancer, with the disease also impacting family friends.He said: "Breast cancer is something that has impacted my family with my mum having gone through cancer treatment along with a close family friend and I just want to do what I can to support others who have been diagnosed.

Calvin is a Strength & Movement coach at Hot Yoga Belfast and said that he has regularly trained using barefoot shoes and has been climbing the Mournes without shoes in preparation for the challenge.
