'Laura’s goal is to make as many memories as possible and leave a legacy for the kids'

The sister of an East Belfast woman who was diagnosed with terminal cancer last month, has launched a fundraising page to allow her to make memories with her children.

Speaking about the family's situation, Laura's sister Joanne told Belfast Live that her sister survived breast cancer nine years ago, but that it has "cam back with a vengeance"."This is something I never in a million years thought I’d have to do," Joanne added. "We have been given the news that it is terminal and any treatment she tries at the moment is to buy her some time with her gorgeous children Louie and Abi. Their wee worlds have been turned upside down and everyone around them just feels so helpless.

"This is where we need help. Laura’s goal is to make as many memories as possible and leave a legacy for the kids, but with bills and every day life expenses mounting up and being unable to work this wouldn’t be possible. Laura lives a simple life with her kids who are just her whole world and never asks for anything.
