Rie has been described as 'a warrior who faced life's challenges head-on'
Before her best friend died at the age of 42, Loveday Rawding made her a promise that she will fulfil this weekend.
Rie, while living with Multiple Sclerosis, radiated energy, a zest for life, and an unbreakable spirit that inspired everyone around her. She said: "When my incredible friend Rie was diagnosed with MS, my heart broke. I promised her I'd run a marathon and raise money for the MS Society. Their commitment to run the marathon is more than just a personal challenge; it's a tribute to Rie's "unshakable spirit" and a demonstration of solidarity with the MS Society's ongoing efforts to stop MS.
