Coronation Street's Nick and Leanne have had a hugely complicated relationship, and it looks like there may be even more trouble ahead as his relationship with Toyah deepens
It’s a dramatic time in Coronation Street as one fan favourite couple are on the verge of splitting as the storyline deepens. Nick Tilsley and Toyah Battersby have been having an affair behind Leanne’s back. After a rocky 25 year up and down relationship, with multiple marriages and divorce, Nick and Leanne were finally on the up, however, when Leanne joined Rowan’s ‘cult,’ the cracks began to show once again.
"I'm not sure I care, I know that sounds bad, but..,” said Nick facing a shocked Toyah, who exclaimed: "She's my sister Nick, you know carrying on like this behind her back is just…” The ‘new couple’ aren’t the only ones who know about their secret affair though, as Rowan has blackmailed Toyah and Nick with a picture of the pair kissing.However, in spoilers for this week, Leanne gets a chance to see Rowan’s laptop and have a rummage around his files, as she tries to stop Amy Barlow from suing The Institute, where she stumbles across a file named ‘Nick and Toyah’ as well as one with her own name on it.
