Scott McFadden, a 38-year-old from Port Glasgow, tragically lost his life in a car crash. His family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral expenses.
Tributes have been paid to a beloved Port Glasgow dad who died in a fatal crash with a parked car. Scott McFadden was a passenger in a Volkswagen Golf that struck an unoccupied Peugeot on Clune Brae around 9.55pm on Monday, December 16. Emergency services rushed to the incident, however, the 38-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A 50-year-old woman was arrested in connection and later released pending further enquiries.
Now, with 'great sadness and a heavy heart', Scott's devastated loved ones have organised a GoFundMe page to help give him a special send off. Organiser Fiona McFadden wrote: 'It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to share the unexpected passing of Scott Mcfadden on Monday, December 16th, 2024. Scott was a son, husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Join Glasgow Live's WhatsApp community here and get the latest news sent straight to your message 'With all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it can also bring financial burdens. We would like to raise money for Scott to help with any funeral expenses. 'It is in times of sadness and loss when people can come together to help one another make it through.
