The Irishman was pleased with the result from his much-changed Hoops side but not so much with the officials.
Brendan Rodgers admitted he was left scratching his head at a couple of decisions after watching Celtic move eight points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 3-0 win over 10-man Ross County.
Subs Luis Palma and James Forrest added further goals in a comfortable win in the end against the Highlanders, who had James Brown sent off for a lunge on Yang. Rodgers told Sky Sports after the game: “We created a lot of chances with some goals disallowed which I’ll have to see again, especially the offside and even the one before that, early on, where there’s two guys jumping for the ball and the ball lands and we finish and it’s given as a no goal. So I don’t see that as a good decision.
“It’s a game we needed energy in the team. The guys starting gave us new energy and the guys coming off the bench gave us new energy and it’s a good win for us. It’s just trying to manage the game time of the players to make sure we’re as fresh as we can. Obviously with all the changes it was a little bit slow at times but in the main it was good combination play but you’re never totally comfortable in the game until you get that second goal.
