At the same time, the 'Get It Right' songstress was busy concluding a hefty sale of her opulent four-bedroom penthouse in New York City. Her property reportedly went for an eye-watering $23m. Inside sources have told the MailOnline that the couple's divorce papers are all but processed, pending submission.
Sources have revealed that the couple, who rekindled their romance in 2021 after a 17-year hiatus, were unable to 'come to a compromise'. Ben and Jen first crossed paths on the set of Gigli in 2001 and were an item from 2002 until 2004.
