Ben Affleck was every inch the doting father as he brought his son Samuel to school in Los Angeles amid rumors he is living apart from his wife Jennifer Lopez .
His youngest child, who he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, walked alongside his dad as he rolled his school bag down the street. 'Some believe they can work it out with time and effort, pointing to their deep bond. Others think the relationship has run its course,' a source told Us Weekly. While doing the morning drop-off at his 12-year-old's school, the 51-year-old Oscar winner looked a bit exhausted as he carried an iced coffee in one hand for a much-needed pick-me-up
'Over time, Jennifer and Ben found it increasingly difficult to communicate effectively,' another source told the outlet.The couple also have 'fundamentally different approaches to conflict' as Affleck tends to withdraw and Lopez prefers to talk things out. Since moving out, Affleck has reportedly 'struggled with loneliness' and 'realized how much he misses Jen.'Now they are both said to be 'reassessing their priorities' and ' what they truly want from the marriage.'
While navigating their reconciliation, two decades following their first engagement, the Gone Girl actor admitted he had zero interest in becoming a fixture on the singer's social media accounts. 'I don't think is very comfortable with me doing all of this,' she said. 'But he loves me, he knows I'm an artist, and he's gonna support me in every way he can because he knows you can't stop me from making the music I made… he doesn't want to stop me. But that doesn't mean he's comfortable being the muse.'
