In an interview with The National Desk, Crump said the people honored at Friday's award ceremony should serve as role models to American children. The honorees include former California Attorney General Rob Bonta, entrepreneur Armstrong Williams, former Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and the world-renowned singer and actress Cher.
