JOHN BERCOW's peerage could be 'put on ice' as Conservative MP Maria Miller hit out at the former Speaker receiving a place in the House of Lords when bullying allegations made against him haven't been fully investigated.
after No 10 broke with tradition to deny him the honour when he quit last year. The former Speaker of the House of Commons has also faced allegations of bullying as his behaviour was claimed to be “very concerning”. Mr Bercow denies the claims. Former Commons clerk Lord Lisvane became the latest to complain and handed a dossier of allegations to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards.
