Based on Anaïs Nin’s erotic short stories, the third episode ofThe French Secretary has invited Lucy to a private lunch for two, although it soon becomes clear he has more than fine dining in mind. Hugo is struggling to deal with some unfinished business that Lucy’s father asked him to take care of. And, when a session with a client ends unexpectedly, dominatrix Cherifa is left in a tricky position.
Lucy is shipped off to the country to spend a few days with the sadistic Lord and Lady Repton, but quickly finds herself terrified and well out of her depth. Emily Lacey ’s “attitude” has gotten her into serious trouble, too: not only is she starved and beaten, but she is also forced to service the brothel’s most feared and abusive client. And Justice Cunliffe is on the hunt for a new, virgin girl for a wealthy client, but Lydia is reluctant to provide one without some assurances.
While those panoramic landscape shots are more than enough to draw viewers in, this award-winning film also has a lot going for it in terms of plot.
