Bethesda's Pete Hines says that Arkane is still working on Redfall's 60fps mode and will 'get it to be a good game' due to its inclusion in Xbox Game Pass.
and exploring the vastness of the universe, Bethesda's head of publishing has spoken about the Earth-based vampire shooter, Redfall, from Arkane Austin, which launched earlier this year to a fairly poor reception. Hines says that Arkane will"get it to be a good game because we know, as a first-party studio, Game Pass lives forever.
Hines says that Redfall is"no different" for Bethesda than The Elder Scrolls Online or Fallout 76, both of which had rocky starts but now have thriving communities."We didn't get the start we wanted, but it's still a fun game… and we're going to keep working on it," Hines said."We're going to do 60fps. We're going to get it to be a good game because we know, as a first-party studio, Game Pass lives forever.

Jody's first article for PC Gamer was about the audio of Alien Isolation, published in 2015, and since then he's written about why Silent Hill belongs on PC, why Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale is the best fantasy shopkeeper tycoon game, and how weird Lost Ark can get. Jody edited PC Gamer Indie from 2017 to 2018, and he eventually lived up to his promise to play every Warhammer videogame.
