Former Victoria Liberal Party president Michael Kroger says its “better” for privatisation to still be taking place. Mr Kroger says for politics its necessary to always “look at the long term” in regards to privatisation. “Not everyone’s successful, not every government’s successful Mr Mookhey – every treasurer, not every treasurer’s successful,” he told Sky News Australia. “So of course you shouldn’t rule these things out. “Paul Keating privatised things, so did the Victorian Labor government – so they have across the country.”
