The Queen of British Soul came to the Liverpool Philharmonic
After celebrating her fiftieth birthday in March, Beverley Knight is embarking on her biggest UK tour to celebrate the milestone and a career spanning three decades. The Queen of British soul brought her '50' tour to the Liverpool Philharmonic on Thursday, November 2 and had the crowd on their feet from the first song.
She then continued with another hit from Prodical Sista, 'Made It Back.' Before her third song of the night, Beverley Knight told the crowd: "It's so good to be back here, I love it. The best accent in Britain." There were many moments throughout the night were the crowd were left completely mesmerised. As she sang 'Gold' - effortlessly - the crowd fell silent, clearly blown away by the magnitude of her talent.
