Blue Ivy Carter is following in the footsteps of her famous mum and dad - Beyonce and Jay-Z - as she joins the cast for a new prequel to the hit Disney movie, Lion King
Beyonce and Jay-Z's eldest, Blue Ivy Carter , is set to lend her voice to the upcoming Lion King prequel, Mufasa. The first trailer for the film, directed by Moonlight's Barry Jenkins, has just dropped.
Beyonce is also set to return for the Mufasa film, which will include original songs from Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. Other cast members include Mads Mikkelsen and Thandiwe Newton, with Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner and Glover also reprising their roles. And her sister Rumi has been making waves in the entertainment industry too as she recently broke the world record for the youngest female singer to hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The young star can be heard in the intro of the acoustic ballad saying to Beyoncé: "Mum, can I hear the lullaby please?”.
