Beyonce documentary Homecoming teased by Netflix and fans have gone wild
Beyonce, 37, is expected to release the documentary, Homecoming, on the streaming platform on 17 April, following rumours about the film last week.
The news was announced on Sunday with Netflix sharing a yellow poster with Homecoming written in sorority font. While it doesn’t mention Beyonce’s name, the yellow colour and title was enough evidence for fans to link her to the project. Of course, the Formation singer wore yellow during her iconic headline performance at Coachella in 2018 and the set was heavily inspired by Historically Black College/Universities culture with brass bands and dancers.
In addition to footage from the stage, the Homecoming documentary is also expected to take fans behind the scenes of the critically-acclaimed performance, which took place over two weekends and was famously dubbed BeyChella.
