The full album dropped in March and offered fans, known as the Beehive, 27 tracks featuring a host of A-list collaborators. She also revealed the album inspiration came from an experience that she had years ago, during which she didn't 'feel welcomed,' leading people to believe she was referencing a chilly reception when she performed her song Daddy Lessons alongside The Chicks at the 2016 CMA Awards.Beyonce and Matthew pictured in January 2007
She added that she dreams that in the future 'the mention of an artist's race, as it relates to releasing genres of music, will be irrelevant.'After the album's release, the former Destiny's Child sensation reflected: 'The joy of creating music is that there are no rules. The more I see the world evolving, the more I felt a deeper connection to purity.
