The 32-year-old from Methil, Fife, made Scotland proud with his rendition of Caledonia
Singer Cammy Barnes was the only Scot to reach the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent and hoped the nation got behind him when he performed on tonight’s live show, and he was left just short of a place in the final.
It was then down to Cammy and 'half naked' act Tonikaku when the Scottish singer had his chances dashed as it was the Chinese performer who made it through, but Cillian was chosen to go through as the winner among the three that were left. Cammy admitted he was "worried" about choosing the song but said how proud he is of his homeland, and that it just "had to be that song".
Amanda Holden added: "I wasn't sure what the song was but it was absolutely beautiful, you are so down to earth and just an amazing bloke it was fantastic." Scots took to Twitter following the news as they fumed over the results, with one writing: "What an absolute f**** joke. Cammy and Unity out. That a*****e through? What a joke. #BritainsGotTalent."
