EXCLUSIVE: As she celebrates her 13th year as a judge on BGT, Alesha Dixon speaks to OK! about the important advice she gave new judge Bruno Tonioli - which he swiftly ignored
After 13 years in a row on the judging panel at Britain's Got Talent, presenter and popstar Alesha Dixon knows what she's talking about when it comes to making the series a success. She joined the ITV show back in 2012, taking her seat alongside Simon Cowell , Amanda Holden and now former judge David Walliams .
Alesha says she, Simon and Amanda gave the former Strictly Come Dancing judge a “warning” before his first round of auditions began, which fell on deaf ears. That said, Alesha says she finds Bruno’s excitement endearing, adding, “That’s what I love about him, he’s just so authentic. In the moment he’s like, ‘When I feel it, I feel it and if I have to do it, I have to do it.’ It was a very funny moment and in classic Bruno style, he just goes free. He’s so passionate and I love it.”Alesha and the rest of the team are currently between series but due to start filming again early next year.
