Ant and Dec have been best friends for over 30 years and have spent the majority of their lives working together - but they once had a huge bust-up that almost ended their TV career
In a shocking revelation from their book, Once Upon a Tyne: Our Story, well-loved presenting pair Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly shared details about their biggest argument ever that almost saw the end of their successful television career.
Their disagreement, however, occurred during a gig on Anthea Turner's Fun in the Sun segment on GMTV, held in Torremolinos. The pair were promoting their latest music release at the time, reports the Mirror. Getting into the festive mood, the lads had a bit too much to drink, and by 10pm, Dec was ready to hit the hay due to an early start the following morning. Ant, however, wasn't quite finished with the night and recalls questioning his mate: "What the hell are you going to bed for?"He insisted: "Don't you dare walk away from me when I'm talking to you."
In a candid chat back in 2013, Ant and Dec opened up about the secret sauce to their enduring friendship. They've been through it all togetherworking side by side and even living just doors apart.
