In a statement, the president said he had been briefed on the shooting and that he and First Lady Jill Biden were praying for him and his family. Trump was rushed off stage by Secret Service agents while giving a speech at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday. Several loud bangs could be heard as he was talking when he said , “Oh,” and put his hand up to his right ear. Blood could be seen on his ear and face as Secret Service agents surrounded the former president.
