Wisconsin attendees learned how to use a campaign app to REACH people they know.
“I really think democracy is at stake here — not a joke,” Biden told a crowd Wednesday at a Racine community center.
“Trump means what he says,” he said to the group of roughly 100 people, adding that the former president and presumptive Republican nominee would undermine his accomplishments., also spoke of being asked by CNN during an interview that is expected to air Wednesday night whether he believes Trump will accept the results of the election. The president said he thinks Trump will not.
Event attendees had participated in a training program on how to use an app called REACH, designed to help them connect with people they know about the importance of the election and voting. Biden’s campaign has used the app for months as part of a “first-of-its-kind relational organizing program” in the Milwaukee area.
“While Donald Trump has no campaign infrastructure to speak of in Wisconsin, Team Biden-Harris and the Wisconsin Democratic Coordinated Campaign have opened 46 offices across the state and hired more than 80 full-time staff working on the ground,” read a memo from Wisconsin campaign manager. Garren Randolph.“President Biden and his campaign are committed to meeting voters where they are to earn their vote,” Randolph wrote.
