He avoids telling his grown son about his health trouble, but finds that he is shaken from his malaise by a hard-living younger friend and a joie-de-vivre-filled young woman in his office . Together, they work to transform a vacant lot into a public playground for children in need, a small good deed that brings immense satisfaction.
