This or the diesel version?
Are diesel’s days numbered? Probably not—at least not around markets like ours. We’d be lying, though, if we said that the possibility of electrified pickup trucks entering our country doesn’t intrigue us.
Now, that possibility might be one step closer to reality. Isuzu has just shown off the D-Max EV at the 2024 Bangkok International Motor Show, and boy, does it look promising. From the outside, the vehicle is distinguishable from its regular diesel-powered counterpart via the new front grille. It features a flatter appearance and small slits, as well as some popping blue trim that represents its cleaner powertrain.
A full EV pickup truck sounds great, but we understand if you aren’t entirely sold on the idea yet. Given the funds, would you jump into this bandwagon and become an early adopter or stick with tried and tested diesel offerings?Read Next BIMS 2024: Camper RV or race-ready truck?
