Birmingham City have offered a package deal with £10million to sign Jay Stansfield from Fulham,Should an agreement be reached between the two clubs, the deal will be worth more than double the previous record signing by a League One club.
Having spent last season on loan at St Andrew’s, Birmingham had made Stansfield’s return a priority, and are now pushing to complete a deal in the closing stages. The recruitment team at St Andrew’s have had a busy summer in strengthening the side to bounce straight back up to League One.revealed they had opened talks over a permanent deal on 22 July.
