The fact-checking website Snopes reported that some social media videos promoting unsubstantiated rumors about Bishop T.D. Jakes were at least partially created with AI.Several of the videos posted and shared by TikTok and YouTube users said Jakes resigned from The Potter’s House after being mentioned in a lawsuit against producer Sean “Diddy” Combs. In reality, Jakes remains senior pastor of the church and preached at itsfrom April has been viewed more than 845,000 times.
