Gianni's Fish and Chip shop in Bishopbriggs is providing free meals for children dressed in Halloween costumes on October 30 and 31. Adults accompanying the children are not required to make a purchase. The offer has been well-received by the community.
Gianni's Fish and Chip shop on Auchinairn Road has announced that children dressed up in their costumes can pop by for a bite to eat without paying a penny for a third year in a row. This year the offer is available on both Monday, October 30, and Tuesday, October 31.
All children walking into the takeaway must be accompanied by an adult, however, adults do not have to purchase anything for the kids to receive their meal. "Come get your free meal on your way to any school or club Halloween discos on Monday, or on Tuesday before you go out guising, or once you are finished. Kids must have an adult with them, but there is no obligation for the adult to buy anything." Social media users flocked to the comments section to praise the business. One wrote: "Feeding the kids of Auchinairn on the busy, hectic nights for families.
