A BAFFLING baby routine guide believed to be from the 1950s has surfaced online – and parents are shocked at the seemingly unusual steps.
It says that a baby’s day should start at 6am, and should involve a feed, change, a “hold out”, and then being put back down to sleep again until 9am. When 2pm strikes, another feed takes place, along with a hold out and an outing, along with the vague instructions of general “mothering.” This nap time should be in the cot with no lights on, windows open, the door shut and no dummy allowed.
