This Morning editor Martin Frizell was filmed in a bizarre moment today, Monday 5 June, when he responded to a journalist's question with another about aubergines
This Morning editor Martin Frizell was involved in an incredibly bizarre moment during quizzing over the ITV daytime TV show today, Monday, June 5, as a reporter fired a question outside his home.
Changing the subject in a move apparently attempting to dodge the topic of work entirely, Martin instead suggested that aubergines were toxic. The moment was filmed by Sky News, and in response to the strange approach to questioning, MP and member of the culture, media and sport committee, John Nicolson, slammed Martin's approach.
Phillip, 61, shared a statement he was immediately stepping down from the programme last month, before giving his own interview admitting to having an affair with a young male runner on the set, which he called "unwise, but not illegal". Speaking from an autocue on the This Morning sofa today, Holly held back the tears as she told viewers she'd been feeling "shaken, troubled, and let down" by Phillip.
