Footage from inside the pharmacy shows two men in uniforms restraining the youngster, with one kneeling across his legs.Kirsty, the mum of the boy, shared the video on Twitter, criticising the force of the security.The former special adviser for Number 10 and the Ministry of Justice wrote: ‘This is my 15-year-old black son who was followed while he shopped for shampoo.’It has since been shared thousands of times, with the actions of the security staff and police widely criticised.
Sussex Police were called to the scene shortly after 3.30pm to reports that a group of teenagers had become involved in an altercation.Three teenagers had been detained by civilian security staff by the time officers arrived, with two subsequently arrested.
