Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be the least toxic Call of Duty in franchise history due to Activision’s new measures.
Before you load into Treyarch’s latest dose of fast-paced multiplayer, you’ll have to accept the Call of Duty Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct aims to prevent you from harassing, or being harassed, against or by teammates or the opposition during a match. While some are hoping for the Call of Duty lobbies from old titles to return, the measures from Activision aim to reduce the levels of toxicity without impacting the franchise’s competitive nature.
After showing promising results, Activision has joined forces with the California Institute of Technology for the past two years resulting in quicker times between reports being sent and action being taken by the moderation team. Will the system work? While in-game voice and text chat may be quieter than usual in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, players have already started utilising other workarounds to avoid any kind of filters.
