Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council wants residents to get involved

Blackburn residents have being invited to have their say on where proposed new charging points for electric vehicles should be located. It’s estimated that there’ll be almost 30,000 EVs on the road in Blackburn with Darwen by 2030.

Cllr Quesir Mahmood, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council’s deputy leader and growth boss, said: “Tackling the climate change crisis is a key priority for the council. We declared a climate emergency in 2019 and we’ve set a target to be carbon neutral by 2030.
