Six fire engines as well as specialist appliances were called to the incident on Croft Head Road with road closures put in place
Firefighters have spent the night battling a huge blaze at an industrial estate in Blackburn. Six fire engines, two aerial ladder platforms, a water bowser and a drone team from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident on Croft Head Road in Blackburn.
LFRS used four jets, one aerial ladder platform, and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. In an update, Station manager Martin Counsell said the fire was "fire in under control" however crews were monitoring and extinguishing hotspots and they expected to be there for the next few hours.The incident commander said: "We got called to a commercial fire, approximately two storeys in height at 7.46pm which was well alight.
