Matt Sillitoe was the voice of Ewood Park for more than a decade
. The 30-year-old worked in a number of different roles at the club after starting out as a camera operator for CREATV in 2012.
Matt has been described as a lifelong Rovers can and it didn't take him long to become the co-presenter and then presenter of Radio Rovers, before becoming the club’s matchday PA announcer and DJ – a role he had held since 2014. Matt also spent over three years as Media Manager for Blackburn Rovers Community Trust, producing written, video and social media content for the club’s award-winning official charity.
Lots of people took to Blackburn Rovers Facebook page to pay tribute to Matt. Pauline Brynes said: "R.I.P. Matt condolences to all your family, you will be missed at Blackburn Rovers."Maureen Bateson added: "So sad, all our thoughts are with his family and friends. We know this is really devastating news for everyone in the club. RIP Matt you were too young to go, you will be missed so much.
