A teacher from Blackburn wanted to do something different to mark the first anniversary of her mum's death
Pupils at St Silas School in Blackburn completed a Santa Dash to raise money for St Catherine's Hospice. The Year Six children took part to raise money for their teacher's mum, who passed away from cancer in 2021.

Last year, before we could run it on third of December, my mum died on the second so I couldn't come. We did it again this year though and it's being great for me, it keeps me busy and occupied so I'm not dwelling."
