Blacklist International bested ECHO 3-2 in the upper bracket finals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M4 World Championship, booking a ticket to yet another grand finals appearance in the M-series.
The titanic all-Filipino clash saw Blacklist lose the first game to ECHO and then go on to win the second. In Game 1, the Agents were uncharacteristically dominated by the Orcas. Blacklist simply can’t do anything against ECHO’s advances, with their lowest point being 1-17 down in kill score against them.
Fortunately, the defending M-series champions bounced back to take Game 2 which featured Blacklist’s UBE going against the Orca UBE. Despite ECHO’s Tristan “” Villaluna proved they got the superior UBE strat as they finished the game 14-7, with V33 herself going for a 1/1/13 finish. With the first half tied 1-1, the second half of the series ended in a similar fashion. ECHO took Game 3 14-4 in eighteen minutes and thirty-eight seconds of action thanks to the efforts of game MVP Benedict “” Gonzales, who eventually became the first player to reach 100 kills in M4 during the series.
