Temperatures are soaring across Europe
As rain pours on the Fylde Coast and many other areas of Lancashire, the rest of Europe is experiencing a record-breaking heatwave.
The Cerberus heatwave, named by the Italian Meteorological Society after the three-headed monster that features in Dante’s inferno, has taken hold across many popular British family holiday hotspots in the Mediterranean. One, which is currently experiencing a more manageable heart in the low 30s, has been dubbed 'Blackpool abroad'.
100,000 Brits head to Sunny Beach every year, largely due to its affordability and also it's weather. This coming week, temperatures will reach as high as 33C on Thursday, making it a top destination for those looking for sun, sea, sand and alcohol. One tourist, 21-year-old Mason, from Essex, heads on a bar crawl and licks alcohol off a Bulgarian woman’s breasts. In the documentary series, he said: "I’m 21, a young buck, I’ve got a lot of goals. I’m going to make Sunny Beach my oyster.
