Chris Webb MP says the incident happened last night
Taking to X, the Labour Party politician said he was returning to his flat in London last night when the incident occurred. He said he has no injuries from the attack and "is okay" but he had his phone stolen from him.
Webb then states his constituents can contact him on a landline number as he is without a mobile "for the foreseeable future". "Unfortunately, they just took my phone so I’m without one for the foreseeable future. I want to thank the Met Police for their swift response and support.
