Police say Kenneth Relitz was driving his 2016 Volkswagen Golf down the 9100 block of Culebra Road when he allegedly hit a bicyclist in September 2022.
A 34-year-old man accused of striking and killing a bicyclist with his vehicle has been arrested almost two years later after blood inside the vehicle was tested and was found to be his. Kenneth Arthur Relitz has been charged with a collision involving death after failing to render aid to a 38-year-old bicyclist. In the late hours of Sept. 22, 2022, Relitz was driving his 2016 Volkswagen Golf down the 9100 block of Culebra Road when he allegedly hit the bicyclist, states an arrest affidavit.
Truck driver charged in fatal school bus crash San Antonio police confirmed the vehicle was reported stolen under a separate case with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. The affidavit does not state when the car was reported stolen. Once a recovered stolen vehicle report was completed, police went to the vehicle and began investigating. The affidavit states the vehicle was found less than a half mile from the crash scene.
