Locals have described hearing a man 'screaming for help' in a Scots town - with bloody handprints visible near the scene.
Locals have told how they heard 'screams for help' amid a bloodbath on a Scots street where a man was found dead.
Other images showed police standing guard after the area was locked down, with evidence markers lining the street. One neighbour said: "We heard someone shouting for help but you hear that quite often, kids messing around and that. Then only a minute after that we heard all these sirens - so many sirens.
“Then about half an hour later the police ran up to Campbell Street and we could hear them knocking and shouting to let them in. It sounded like they were trying to bash down the door.
