Donald Trump is spewing a disturbing torrent of authoritarian rhetoric as he runs to reclaim the White House.

This is not politics as usual. The inflammatory language puts Trump a world apart from any presumptive, major-party nominee in modern American memory. And it’s getting worse.

A troubling fondness for authoritarianism is not new for Trump.
