The Blue Angel Flight Demonstration Team originated at NAS Jax in 1946 and has held annual shows in Jacksonville for decades.Isabella Casapao, First Coast News JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — The Blue Angels won't be back to Jacksonville Beach for its air show next year.that despite submitting its annual request for next year's air show,"the Blue Angels selected a different city during our desired date.

The spokesperson added the city is working to grow its relationship with civilian pilots and its Office of Sports and Entertainment will attend the 2024 International Council of Air Shows to"continue that effort." Jacksonville Beach Mayor Christine Hoffman said she is"very disappointed" to hear about next year's show.
