Portable power stations are expensive, right? Not if you're savvy, it seems. I'm not suggesting you opt for one of the unbranded devices you'd find on certain websites, but a quality product needn't cost the earth.
And, yes, that's still a fair old investment, but just consider what you're getting. Firstly, the AC70 has a 768Wh battery, made from the latest LiFePO4 technology, which is remarkable to see at this price point. There are two AC outlets, two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, and a 12V car outlet, and it all links up to Bluetti's superb app - so you can control the outputs, inputs and monitor loads remotely.
Given these attributes, the AC70 is reasonably compact, compared to some of its rivals offering similar power. It weighs just over 10kg, which makes it easy enough to lug around a garden or campsite. And it's also compatible with Bluetti's expandable batteries, should you need even more occasional power.
