Police believe the attack was targeted
A BMW and Land Rover smashed into a car, blocking it in, as six men attacked the driver with weapons. Lancashire Police were called to Wordworth Road in Accrington at 8.30am on November 6 following reports of an assault.
The suspects got out of the cars and attacked the victim with weapons. He suffered injuries to his legs and face. Police believe the incident was a targeted attack and there is no wider threat to the community.
