Police shut both roads while a clean-up operation took place
Detectives are now investigating the incident in Nelson - after the occupants of the Audi SUV fled the scene. The two cars smashed into each other at the junction of Carr Road and Every Street at about 10.45am today.
A third said: "Perhaps if they could actually drive in the first place it might help prevent this type of thing from happening. No doubt another kid in a car with power they can't handle." "There are no reports of any injuries to the occupants of the house. Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting log 413 of December 27."
It comes less than two weeks after after a fatal crash in the town killed a much-loved mum. A man has been charged after a woman died following a collision in Nelson. Police said they received a report of a collision between a blue Volkswagen Golf and a pedestrian on Manchester Road, Nelson at around 8:30pm on December 15.
